Few of us can imagine the reality of being overtly persecuted for our Christian faith. But research shows that more than 365 million Christians are suffering high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith in our world today. In Asia alone, 2 in 5 Christians are experiencing persecution. (Open Doors, 2024)
God’s call is clear. The time to respond is now. As believers, we have the opportunity to support, encourage and make a difference in the lives of these brave followers of Jesus.

This year, Reach A Village has been blessed to begin a new ministry partnership in Albania. The opportunities for sharing the Gospel are great in this nation. About 70% of Albanians are Muslim with smaller groups being non-religious or Catholic. Many people are leaving the country to seek greater economic opportunity, and other Islamic nations are pouring money into Albania to influence the people. Please pray for the safety and protection of our ministry partners there.

Marin — one of Reach A Village’s ministry leaders in Bulgaria — received a surprising invitation to visit the home of some Turkish-speaking Romas. The invitation came from the family of a gravely ill woman named Galya (below left), who asked Marin and his team to come and pray for her. No one had ever been willing to go and visit Galya. Even though he didn’t know her and had never been to her village, Marin agreed to go.
