Jim Thompson serves Reach A Village as Vice President of Ministry​ Advancement. After ​seminary, he pastored in the United States for ​18 years. Though having a ​pastor’s heart, his great passion was for the unreached​ multitudes throughout the world who have not known of the love and salvation​ of Jesus.

Since 2006, Jim has served in three ​global​ mission organizations​, connecting​ the hearts of American Christians to the hearts of the ​unreached. He finds​ great joy using his gifts for empowering American Christians to resource the​ global Church for spiritual growth.

Jim holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological​ Seminary in Evangelism, Discipleship, and Revival. Dr. Thompson has written extensively on the worldwide Bible Gap and serves​ on the research team for the Bible Watch List that will be published in the ​fall​ of 2025.​ He is also the author of the​ book, “The Enoch Generation”.
