In Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, close to 90 percent of the population is Buddhist, while only about 5 percent is Evangelical Christian. Persecution, oppression, censorship and human rights violations have become the norm after the military coup in 2021. The situation remains desperate. They need the support of God’s Word and fellowship with other believers.
