The Free in Jesus Christ Church Association (FJCCA) set a new record for the largest baptism in Thai church history. Reach A Village reports that 1,912 people were baptized on September 8, 2023, in a historic event in Phetchabun, located in Central Thailand. On July 12, 2022, our Thai ministry partners broke the record again for the single largest baptism in the history of the nation! An enormous 1,588 people took this step of faith. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people had waited two years or more.
This breaks the record of 1,435 that occurred in September 2020. The FJCCA, our ministry partners, are planning more large group baptisms in the weeks ahead.
On August 1st, another 585 people were baptized. Two weeks later, another 1,260 people took this step of faith. That is over 3,400 people baptized in less than six weeks!
